Until we haven't run the DBCManager setup on a fresh Teradata install, there are no PSA configuration tables. And also none of TDWM tables.

So by default which Priority Scheduler is active? if both the PS of TDWM and PSA are not there?

Do you have access to the UNIX command line on the Teradata system to run schmon? (See the Teradata Utility Manuals for more info on this utility and how to use it.) – Rob Paller Mar 25 at 20:36
The schmon utility gives empty results. Later, when we ran the database setup utility on the system, it created the TDWM and PSA (in DBSMNGR) tables but there was no data in them. I think this implies that both aren't working, right? – Monis Iqbal Apr 2 at 13:00
you're right Rob. On another fresh system, I tried schmon -a and it returned: Resource Partitions (0 - 4) Id Partition Name Weight Limit 0 Default 100 none However there was no data in the PSA tables. – Monis Iqbal Apr 9 at 20:18
